CCC: Comfortable & Casual for Church

So everybody has those pieces in their closet that they have had for years and years but never want to give away because in your mind you think you just might wear them, yea y’all know what I’m talking about, we all have them. I myself have plenty of these items and decided that this year I am going to wear them and then part with them. Sunday I decided to pull out two of those pieces.

Living in Atlanta the summers can be rather hot so my church has dress down Sunday’s from June to August. I normally am unable to go to church because of my job but I was recently offered a new position where I am blessed to have the weekends off so why not start my first week at my new job with the word of God.
For church I decided to wear a multi-colored skirt that I purchased 4 or 5 years ago paired with a dark jean shirt that was also  purchased 4 or 5 years ago. These two pieces are comfortable and casual and make for the perfect summertime church outfit. I am a strong believer of “Come as you are,” so I truly came as I was and got the word. I will be giving both of these items to the Goodwill or since they haven’t been worn but once or twice I might sell them on Poshmark.  I challenge y’all to go through your closet and see what you haven’t worn in years and put it to use then part ways with it.
Are you willing to take the challenge?
