Fat and Bougie at Coachella: The Experience

It’s here! The final installment to the Fat and Bougie at Coachella series and I’m sure it’s the post that most you have been waiting patiently for. Ever since returning from Coachella there have been two questions that I have received repeatedly from you all and from others and they are “Girl, what are the outfit details?” and “Sis, was it really worth it and did you really enjoy it?” So allow me to give the people what they want and answer those questions.

If you read my other Coachella post then you know that I purchase my tickets in June of 2017 for Coachella 2018 so I had plenty of time to plan my outfits. Knowing that Coachella is in the dessert, I knew that it was going hotter than fish grease outside so I wanted to be as cool as possible. I searched the internet for outfit inspiration and pulled together these three looks which I really loved and I felt like they showed off three different views on my personal style.

Day 1
For the first day, I decided to bring boho vibes and went with a cute tie-dye kimono that I found on Amazon with a simple black crop top and biker shorts underneath so that the focus was on the kimono. I paired this look with DIY black lace-up sandals and a cute choker. A Coachella outfit would not be complete without a fanny pack and what better one than a holographic one.

Day 2
#Beychella so during my search for Coachella outfits my first thought was oh lets were lemons on Beychella then I realized that everybody and they mama would be wearing lemons so I headed to one of my favorite places Asos to find a cute, chic, flowing dress and I found the PERFECT Coachella dress. This white dress with mesh detail and black embroidered flowers screamed Coachella vibes! I paired this also with my black sandals and fanny pack along with a black choker. A simple but classic look.

Day 3
The final day. By day three I figured I would be tired and ready to go! LOL. The sun had taken it’s toll, the walking had taken it’s toll and I just wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give off comfy but cool kid vibes. I rocked a black mesh shirt with velvet roses embroidered on it paired with black biker shorts. To bring festival vibes I decided to wear a red bra underneath with no tank. Show some sun ya know. To finish it off red Converse, a red bandana and a cute pineapple fanny pack.

Now did I really enjoy Coachella or was it all a front?

Y’all I literally lived my best life at Coachella! I enjoyed every part of it! The good, the bad and the ugly simply because there wasn’t much bad and ugly. I met some amazing people who I still keep in touch with today. I ate amazing food and I saw so many amazing artist perform. My best friend and I got to experience this for the first time together which made the experience that much more amazing. I would absolutely spend the money to go back and I encourage anybody that wants to go to do so. This is one of those things that I didn’t realize was on my bucket list but it was. I do a lot of things simply for the experience and this was amazing experience!

Love more and worry less is my travel moto. What is a life without experience?

Let me knew below if you have been to Coachella or plan to go.
