A Holiday Way: Lessons in a Dress

Here we are hours before the New Year, 2016 and it’s still unbelievable to me. 2015 was definitely one for the books for me and I can honestly say it was one of my better years. At the end of the year I can’t help but to think about the good times and the bad times that I experienced during that year and of course I think about my great things that are to come in the New Year.  I like to refer to my good and bad times as lessons learned. Over the years I have learned some very valuable listens about getting through life. Here are a few listens that I learned in 2015:
  • You have to be patient and wait on God’s plan. I use to act on my own understanding and my own plan but when I realized that everything that has happen to me God already knew it would happen I had to learn to trust him more and wait on his timing.
  • You have to forgive but never forget.  I am an understanding person but when you burn me I tend to hold a grudge. I had to learn to forgive people but never forget what they did. Release the anger for that person because that anger will hurt you more than that person did.
  •  Not everybody will understand your grind. POINT.BLANK.PERIOD. Your hustle means nothing to the next person but remember you’re doing it for you and your dreams. Don’t worry about what other think. DREAM.PLAN.HUSTLE.ACHIEVE.
  • Everybody deserves love. I use to feel that I would never fall in love (again), never get married and have kids but I learned that it’s all possible. Just have to pray and have faith. My prince is coming.
  •  Stop procrastinating! Simple as that!
  •  Meek Mill was clearly not ready for Drake. Oprah continues to win. BeyoncĂ© stops the world. Black lives matter. They don’t want to see black people win. DJ Khaled has the keys to success. It goes down in the DM’s. Everybody wants to be Fetty Wap but nobody wants to lose an eye.

There you have it a Here we are hours before the New Year, 2016 and it’s still unbelievable to me. 2015 was definitely one for the books for me and I can honestly say it was one of my better years.
