Girl, Where Do You Work?

Anybody that knows me knows that I will change a job in a heartbeat without a second thought. I am always looking for a better opportunity for myself and my family. One question that I always ask during an interview is, “What is the dress code?” I strongly believe in the dress for the job you want not the job you have theory and it always works well for me.

When dressing for work I don’t believe you have to wear the boring black suit and white collared shirt every day to impress. Add some pattern and color to your everyday business attire and I guarantee you will start to feel like you can do any job you want.

I was recently offered a new job outside of the field that I have been working in for a few years and the dress is business professional so what better way to start work than with a bright blazer, cute pants and some fly shoes. This orange blazer is perfect for the workplace and with the bright hue it radiates warmth and happiness around you and your coworkers. I paired this blazer with all black and white and a hint of gold to pull this look together. It’s very workhouse chic.

By the way is the second look in my “Orange is the New Black” look book.
What did you wear to work today?
