Cartoon Love

Let’s face it, cartoons are every child’s soap operas and I had to watch them every week growing up. To be honest there are still a few that I must watch today. Back in the day I couldn't miss an episode of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I would wake up early on the weekends just to watch what crime Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael would be fighting and what silly arguments they would get into.

My favorite was Raphael (I've always had a thing for bad boys). He was strong and had that “hard” exterior. He wasn't scared to throw the first punch and he gave off this tough, take no shit demeanor but he also knew when to tone that down. In reality I am Raphael. I am that tough, hates to cry, aggressive (at times) type of person but I also have a soft side but don’t tell anybody.

When I saw this tank, I had to have it! It took me back to that happy place in my childhood when things were simple. No bills to pay, no student loans, no crazy 9-5 or 2-11, no worries at all but what came on television after TNMT and would I have time to watch it before I had to take a bath and if I was going to play with my friends.

I am a graphic tee lover and so happy to have added this one to my closet. I paired this tank with a black midi skirt and a jean jacket and gray boots for a music showcase that some of my friends performed at. I really loved this look. It was comfortable and chill but still had that bit of BOOM that made it just right.
