Cold Shoulder Hater

Trends come and go so I am typically a person that buys whatever I think it’s good on me rather it be on trend of not. I remember being in high school and a big trend was the cold shoulder trend. You could go in any store and find a cold shoulder dress or top. Raise your hand if you remember the Apple Bottom or Derion cold shoulder tops with the chain detail for the strap?

Well this trend was NEVER my favorite. The trend has found its way back around especially with the boho trend that has been happening but I still wasn’t feeling it until a few weeks into ago.
I was browsing the clearance racks at one of my local Target stores and came across this beautiful paisley printed cold shoulder top. The top was right on trend, not only was cold shoulder but it gave a boho vibe as well. I didn’t know whether to try it on or just leave because I knew that I would hate it. In the end decided to give it a try and low and behold I loved it!

The top fits beautifully! It is slightly oversized and has elastic sleeves which allows this shirt to go from long sleeve to quarter length sleeves to even a short over the elbow sleeve. It will also transition from summer right to fall and make its way back around for next spring. Needless to say I have become a little open to trying on items that I might have not liked in the past.

What is a trend that you did like but now have a small place in your heart for?
