These southern temps are finally starting to let the fall weather make an appearance and we are what, three or so weeks into fall? But it’s better late than never, I guess. For fall (and winter) I am all about my boots and I love to find pieces that are transitional throughout the seasons. In this post I feature both of those!

I am have never been a fan of swing dresses. They tend to be too short or too shapeless or too tight around my boobs and just unflattering. So you can imagine my surprise when I found this dress at one of my favorite discount stores and discovered that I actually like it! 

I found this dress on the clearance rack for $11.99 at my local Ross Dress for Less! I am on a roll of with the $12 dress right? It is perfect for fall and can be worn a number of ways. You can go for country chic as I did with a pair of boots for those fall days where the breeze is just right. You can also throw a scarf, tights and knee high boots for those chilly fall nights. Then guess what when spring comes back around you can pair your favorite flat or sandal with it making it a spring staple.
